Grade 11 Planting Mangroves

On Saturday October 7, eight Grade 11 students went to Samut Songkhram to plant mangroves as a part of their CAS experience. They joined with other volunteers from Bangkok through registering online. The students did interactive activities with the group, listened to a local mangrove expert, and finally planting mangroves. They all had an amazing experience for being involved in conserving the environment and meeting new people.

ISE Green Action Dive

On September 24th, ISE students and members of Green Action Dive dove on Koh Chan and Koh Chuang in order to have fun, learn about coral reefs, and add new coral pieces to our nurseries. Our corals are growing, and OCEAN QUEST and Sea Shepherd Dive are inspired by the involvement of our youth for marine conservation. A special thank you for our partners Seafari and Pattaya Dive Centre for their discounted rates for marine conservation.

GREEN ACTION is an ISE group who gives of their time and energy in order to give back through various conservation initiatives. This week we will focus on our recycling initiative where our profits will eventually go toward solar energy at ISE! Please join us and make a difference.

Spain - Student Trip Poster

Welcome Back to ISE

Dear ISE Students and Parents,

The first week of school is over and I have to say it was Fantastic!

As your new Superintendent to the International School Eastern Seaboard, I, along with the Board of Directors, and the entire teaching staff want to welcome you back to what will be a great 2017- 2018 school year. We are all ready to deliver a high quality academic program, as well as bring to the school  strong, diverse after school activities .

As we go into the new academic school year, the staff are truly committed to providing a caring learning environment, a rigorous academic program with support, and extra effort in maintaining  strong communication between home and school.  It is a fact that a trusting partnership between parents and school will result in a high performance program.

We truly believe that our task and commitment is to challenge, inspire and motivate your children to strive for excellence.  This year our new direction is to be transparent, professional, communicative, positive, and provide the needed tools to push your child to create, innovate, and step outside their comfort zone.  At the same time, receiving the needed support during those struggles that may occur along the way.

In addition, this year the school is focused on making learning relevant and real world.  We are going to place serious attention on design thinking, pre-engineering, innovation, and how technology has a place in every subject matter.

To the students, have a great year and remember to challenge yourself.  To the parents, I encourage you to visit the school when you have free time.  We are all here to bring the best to your child’s learning experience and the more you know about the school, the better the year will be for your family.

Go Eagles!

Mr. Alexander Bennett
