Welcome to the International School Eastern Seaboard.
It is both a privilege and a deeply personal honor to introduce you to our school community. Nestled within the beautiful Burapha Golf Course, our school has been a second home to generations of students since opening its doors in 1994.
ISE holds a special place in my heart—not only as the Interim Head of School, but also as a proud alumna of the Class of 2008. Since graduating, I have pursued my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington and a Master of Education at Korea University, followed by nearly 15 years in international education across the United States, Korea, and Thailand. I returned to ISE in 2020, and what began as a visit quickly became a homecoming.
As a third culture individual—Korean by birth, raised in Thailand, and graduated in the United States—I deeply value the richness of international-mindedness. At ISE, this is not simply a concept we teach; it is something we live every day. Our diverse community reflects a wide range of cultures, perspectives, and experiences, and our students see this diversity authentically represented in their peers, teachers, and mentors.
In an era where education is often large-scale and standardized, we take pride in being one of the few independently owned American curriculum schools in Thailand. Our size is one of our strengths. It allows us to truly know each student, to nurture their individuality, and to provide meaningful opportunities for leadership, creativity, and growth.
Our students are not only academically prepared—they are adaptable, compassionate, and confident. They learn to lead, to collaborate, and to contribute meaningfully to any community they join. Whether organizing events, stepping into leadership roles, or simply offering a helping hand, our graduates carry with them the values that define ISE. We are proud of their success in entering prestigious universities around the world.
We are not only here to educate your child—we are here to nurture them, support them, and prepare them for life beyond our campus.
Welcome to ISE.
